0 Children ages 5-10 are taught Classical Academic Art techniques and procedures.  Students begin working on portraits by the time they are 6 or sooner if they are exceptionally motivated.  Students schedule their classes during normal studio hours to fit their own schedule.  Times and days can vary from week to week, or stay the same.  90 min.- 2 hr. classes are for 5-6 yr. olds, 2-3 hour classes are for students ages 7 and up.   To sign up click on this link:  http://www.rhondamyers.com/12.html

8-10 yr. olds are capable of spending longer hours on more complicated paintings.  We do one tight Classical Academic painting, then one loose or cheezy painting.

All paintings incorporate at least 5 of the 8 objectives to creating significant art.  Color Harmony is stressed as well as creating a likeness of the object being painted.
